For over fifty years, The Hideaway at Hull Bay has served as a beloved gathering spot where locals would frequent the restaurant, bar, campground, and boatyard. As residents of the island, we cherished growing up in this special place. In April 2017, we seized the opportunity to become the proud owners of The Hideaway. We intend to help our small community prosper through the sustainable development of our land and resources.
The hurricane season of 2017 wreaked havoc on St. Thomas, bringing all plans for improvement to a halt. We’ve spent the last five years restoring what was lost and rebuilding the space for visitors and locals to enjoy once again.
Today, The Hideaway is a beachfront haven for locals and visitors alike. We offer luxury accommodations and unparalleled hospitality while preserving our unique island landscape, culture, and history. Unlike most development on the island, we emphasize a low density, low-impact approach.
Our lush five-acre property is home to two beachfront villas, eight beachside cottages, and a regenerative farm! The farm includes a robust fruit orchard, vegetable patch, and herb gardens. As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we added an on-site retention pond to capture stormwater runoff. The pond's natural processes remove pollutants before the water reaches the ocean.
